"This was our second time staying here, and just like our first visit, it was absolutely amazing! The host was once again incredibly communicative, friendly, and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights of our trip was simply sitting on the porch and bird watching. We also got the chance to see Mayor Max, try some new food spots, and capture so many beautiful photos along the way. We had such a wonderful time and are already looking forward to coming back again!"

"Our family and pup had a great time. Cozy cabin setting in the woods. All the amenities we needed. Easy walk into town for dinner and shopping. Beautiful path along the creek. We will stay there again."

"This place was great for a mountain getaway for our family! Extremely close to town yet feels like you are in a secluded mountain paradise. Our toddler loved watching the birds and squirrels in the yard and could not get enough of exploring the creek just on the other side of the fence. The path along Strawberry Creek makes for a quick and enjoyable walk into town for coffee, food, groceries, or shopping. Although we did not end up bringing our dog, it seems like a great setup for a furry friend."

"‼️ ABUSIVE, AGGRESSIVE, & DISRESPECFUL‼️Guests should be aware that multiple reviewers (David 5/2026; Chelsea 4/2025; Noemi 9/2024) have reported the host as aggressive and disrespectful, and my experience was similar. Upon arrival, the host provided overly detailed check‑in instructions by phone, then abruptly yelled at me when I mentioned difficulty opening a gate. When I calmly questioned the behavior, she shifted to claiming she felt “unsafe” and suggested I might damage the property—an accusation that felt harmful and manipulative, especially as a POC. She later asked that I not leave a negative review, to this RECURRING THEME. Because it was a busy holiday weekend, we stayed. But I felt extremely uncomfortable for the remainder of the trip. The property itself is dated but generally fine: a shower door that doesn’t close, one very creaky bed, carpets and couch covers needing shampooing/cleaning, but a nice nearby trail and convenient location. If you book, DOCUMENT EVERYTHING!"

"This was a cute spot right by strawberry creek. We loved the walk ability, how dog friendly it was, and the deck and fenced yard. Host was responsive and helpful. Would absolutely stay again!"
