Strawberry Creek on Pine Dell

"We enjoyed our stay in Idyllwild mainly because this home is so walkable to town. You simply walk out the back gate to the hiking path (along Strawberry Creek), turn left and within minutes, you’re at the center of town. We appreciated the detailed instructions of the unit and its amenities and really appreciated it being uncluttered. The house is well appointed with spices, coffee and teas, pots and pans, glasses and plenty of nice towels. The bed is very comfortable and the ac unit was great because it was hot the weekend we rented. The unit also has plenty of space for a couple to share while patio and dog run offer the opportunity to enjoy Idyllwild’s beautiful scenery."

"Very inviting and peaceful. We loved its location being amongst the trees, and at the same time within walking distance from the town restaurants and shopping. Also a short drive to hiking trails. The host was friendly and helpful."

"Wonderful location and exactly as described. The host was so helpful and gave us a great walkthrough at the start of our trip. They also gave us access to an extra part of the yard since there weren’t other guests. We will 100% be back!"

"A nice spot, but not pet- or person-friendly. Property’s cramped up against other houses so there’s lots of foot traffic, and if your doggies bark at passing people the hosts will threaten you with 5k fines, then tell you not to post bad reviews or they’ll post negative reviews of you. If you leave the slide door open w/AC on, ditto: extra charges threatened. All very police-state. We left a day early—felt unwelcome and unsafe."

"My wife and I and our cat really loved the cabin! It was super clean and stocked well. The creek path near the cabin was beautiful and serene and led you to the town. The cabin has a pretty outdoor area with a huge pine tree and green plants where we enjoyed some quiet time in the mornings. This was our first time to Idyllwild and we're blown away at how awesome the town is and how picturesque the area is. The hosts were helpful and very responsive. Definitely coming back!"

"We had a great weekend getaway with our pup! We loved being able to walk along the creek into town. The cabin is cozy and modest, and the fully fenced yard was a nice bonus. While it’s not quite large enough for a big dog to run full speed, our adult German Shepherd had a great time exploring and relaxing outside. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, including condiments, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and even almond milk. Flexible check-in and check-out made everything easy, and our host’s encouragement to “let our dog be a dog” made our first Airbnb stay with him feel especially welcoming and stress-free. We’d happily stay here again!"
